Ski or snowboard to La Saulire
You face “La Grande Casse” and behind you is “La Grande Motte” glacier (Tignes and Val d’Isère); on your right you’ll face one of the biggest glaciers in the area, the glacier of La Vanoise; you’ll be above the Courchevel valley with its 4 ski resorts, the most famous, Courchevel 1850.
From here it is possible to go to Chamrossa (Courchevel 1650), passing by 1550, to reach Le Praz (1300m) where there are the Olympic ski jumps, if you are lucky, we could see some jumpers training. What ever you do ... don't miss the last turn. If you do, you will be in the lake!
Of course, there is an other summit I haven't mention yet, one which is the corner stone of the 3 Vallées, the imposing, majestic and statuesque Mont Blanc. It is over 4810m high. From every summit it dominates the view, you will see it, almost able to touch it. Mont Blanc is there like a beacon always focusing your attention.
